The glue distribution methods of different distributors are divided into: time pressure method, screw pump distribution method and piston pressure method, and jet dispensing.

Time pressure method. This method was used in SMT earlier. It obtains the predetermined glue amount and glue dot diameter by controlling the time and air pressure. Usually the coating amount increases with the increase of pressure and time, and the glue drop is distributed. The volume is a function of the time that the pressure of the glue in the syringe is applied.

Screw pump distribution method,

This method uses a closed-loop glue dispenser, which relies on matching pistons and cylinders to work. The piston moves downwards in the cavity to push the glue liquid. The volume of the cylinder determines the amount of glue applied, and a certain amount and shape of glue can be obtained. The advantage of this method is that the speed is faster than the previous two methods, and it can deliver high-viscosity fluids. The outlet flow can be adjusted by controlling the air pressure. The time spent for squeezing will not change due to the size of the dropping point, so it can be Maintaining a constant work efficiency makes it easier to dispense glue quickly, accurately, and repeatedly, and can be applied to glue with different viscosities.

Fluid jet dispensing

It is a kind of dispensing technology developed recently. The basic principle is similar to that of inkjet printers. The material can be separated automatically by applying a large enough force to the fluid. The glue liquid fills the gap between the spray needle and the syringe under the pressure of the glue. First, the spray needle moves upward under the action of air pressure and stays at a high position for an appropriate period of time. The spray needle moves downward under the action of the spring force. The end spherical surface collides with the base, and the flowing glue is cut off. The glue at the lower end of the spherical surface is ejected from the nozzle at high speed to form glue drops. Then the spray needle stays at the trough position for a period of time, and then the spray needle moves upward to start the next movement cycle.
